I’m Katherine.
I’m the mother of this little boy, David. He was born on the 23rd December 2008. He is sweet, kind, and affectionate, except when we try to feed him vegetables. (These are the Devil’s work, apparently.) He’s an only child by choice. He wears cloth nappies and does baby-led weaning. He loves to pose for the camera.
I’m a photographer. I’m getting ready to go back to work full-time in June, running my own company. I love shooting in black and white. I take photos using a Canon EOS450D with a mixture of Tamron and Canon lenses. I use a Canon Speedlite 430EX II flashgun. I edit using Aperture, and host my photos on Flickr.
I’m a bit of an Apple fangirl. I used to work in IT support, but I’ve lost my technical ability since coming over to the Dark Side. This means that I need Joe, my other half, to fix things for me. He does it pretty well.
Joe and I are getting married at some point in 2010, or when people stop nagging us about the date.
We are the proud servants of three cats, Snowball, Wily and Eric. Snowball and Wily are brother and sister, adopted as kittens in June 2006. Eric adopted us in June 2009.
