Barefoot in the Kitchen

David’s cousin Wilfred has the most beautiful deep green eyes. He’s nine months old, now, and he’s just started crawling properly. I’m really, really looking forward to this time next year, when he and David are running around together.

I’m not a co-sleeper.  At least, I didn’t think I was until a few days ago, where I couldn’t be bothered to get out of bed in the morning, so brought David in with me for a snuggle.  He’s fallen asleep for his morning nap in my bed ever since.  He’s still to wriggly to come in with us at night, and I’m glad (I like sleep!), but I love these precious mornings.
